This week's theme is: Books That Should Be Made Into Movies(in no particular order)
This is honestly very hard because I'm very picky and a lot of books I'd choose-like Vampire Academy and Evermore-are already in the works to be made into movies. But here goes!

The Last Summer (of You & Me) by Ann Brashares- one of the most romantic, emotional, and full novels I've ever read.

My Name Is Memory by Ann Brashares- another great book by Ann, this book has everything- romance, mystery, plot, and some supernatural elements!

Willow by Julia Hoban- One of my top 5 favorite books ever, this book is so intense and special.

Teach Me by R.A. Nelson- an intense and unique book about the relationship between a student and teacher.

Still Missing by Chevy Stevens- this book got me into thrillers and would amazing as a movie!

I know my choices may seem odd, but I don't see a lot of teen/adult contemporary movies because they're not too popular so they don't make a lot of money. Supernatural books are the ones that always get picked up these days, Twilight anyone???, so I wanted to choose different books! All these books are amazing and I think they're just emotional and have enought plot that they'd be good movies.

The Hillywood Show- Eclipse Parody

I saw this on HisGoldenEyes and just had to post it because I think it's amazing! These actors are great!!

Song Stuck In My Head Saturday (4)

I haven't done this meme in a few weeks so I have about 50 songs stuck in my head, but the one keeps overshadowing all the others is...

No Hope For Gomez! by Graham Parke Birthday Event Pre-Post

"No Hope for Gomez!" Birthday Party. Win kindles, iPods, and get free books!

“It's the age-old tale:
     Boy meets girl.
     Boy stalks girl.
     Girl already has a stalker.
     Boy becomes her stalker-stalker.”

From the author's blog:
It's hard to believe, but it's been a year since I handed in the final proofs for my weird little book ‘No Hope for Gomez!’ To celebrate this, and the fact that it just became a finalist in 2010's Best Book Awards, I decided to throw an international party. As I’ve had a debilitating fear of throwing parties and no-one showing up since early childhood, I’d be more than delighted if you’d come!

Of course, with every cool, international party comes a gift bag. Here's just some of the stuff attendants will get:

  • Exclusive short story collection
  • No Hope for Gomez: The Lost Chapters
  • Making of Gomez: behind the scenes eBook
  • Signed hi-res poster + bookplate

(These are all exclusive items and will not be available again)

Additionally, several lucky attendants will win a Kindle or an iPod!

Oh yeah, you can bring as many friends as you like, just don't bring your crazy uncle who drinks too much and then tries to get me to go to the attic with him to see something wonderful. I've fallen for that before and I don't mind telling you, I came away very disappointed!

Find out how to attend HERE.

Top 5 Sundays (4)

This really fun and totally original weekly meme is hosted by Larissa at Larissa's Bookish Life!!

Favorite Tv Shows That Got Canceled
In no particualr order:

Smallville~ I watched this show for years, I mean it was a part of my childhood- it was the first poster I bought! Tom Welling is just so hot and he's an amazing actor. The show was great for years, and then as soon as The WB becane The CW it all went downhill. The show was still good but I think it wasn't high on the network's list of priorities.

Related~ Another victim of WB swithcing to The CW :-(
I absolutely adored this show. It was funny and sweet and I loved all the characters and their relationships with each other. I was so pissed when it was canceled!
The Class~ This was a hilarious comedy with lots of great characters! I honestly don't know why it was canceled because it was one fo my favorite  comedies I've ever seen! And then, one day, it just didn't come on and it never did again.....  :-*

Moonlight~ GREATEST. VAMP. SHOW. EVER! First off, Sophia Miles from Tristan + Isolde and Alex O' Laughlin! Hottest couple ever! I have the one and only series on DVD and I'm so upset that I don't get to know more of their story :-(

Monk~ I know this whole theme song by heart, Monk is so cute-I know, weird- and it's the best combination of comedy and detective!

Past Life~ I knew the show wasn't going to last because, hello, who tries to compete with Grey's Anatomy??? Seriously now. But it was a great show and very original!
